Vectren Source Initiates Discounted Rate and Community Outreach Program for Senior Citizens
Vectren Source, the most recent entrant to the Georgia deregulated
gas market, has engaged Insight Strategic Communications to design
a marketing launch for Senior Select™, a new natural gas
pricing plan.
Senior Select™ provides senior citizens with flexibility,
savings, and convenience. The rate offers the state’s lowest
monthly customer service charge ($3.95), a discount from Vectren
Source’s monthly variable rate, and the ability to choose
the bill payment date. The brand positioning, strategy, and identity
development for the rate was developed by the Atlanta-based company.
Additionally, Insight Strategic Communications is supporting
Vectren Source’s community outreach program designed to
educate senior citizens on natural gas. This program, which helps
seniors better understand gas deregulation, how to select a gas
marketer, and how to make homes more energy efficient, kicks
off this month and will run through May. Public relations, collateral
and presentation development, and event management are components
of the program launch
